Visit your Familiar Retreat and fill out your ranks (and buy/forge some equipment) before you set off, or you will be sorry. The addition of Swaine to the party will fill it out. The ship captain will re-direct you back to the Cowliphate in Al-Mamoon. When you approach the dock, you will be given a Bathing Suit and directed to the captain of the ship. The Temple of Trials may have its fighting circuit available now (but you may want to check back after your adventure in Hamelin, when you can fast-travel with the Travel spell). You can finish some errands and pick up some bounty missions before heading to the ship. The most dangerous attack is the Hubble Bubble attack which gives you 10 seconds to heal and defend against an area of effect attack. Its Al-Khombo ability will be a semi-homing attack on Oliver or Esther and should be Defended against. Avoid or defend against the boss when it pulls out a fire sword, but attack it when it has a parasol. When it pulls off the Alakaz.um attack, it will summon a fiery weapon or a parasol. SURPRISE BOSS - AL-KHEMI, GENIE OF THE POT When you're ready, the passcode to activate the alchemy cauldron is "OPEN SAYS-A-ME" (all caps and dashes are okay).Īfter entering the passcode, the pot will open and you'll be thrown into a boss fight.

Before typing in the code to open the pot, you will want to save at the Inn first as you will be fighting a boss soon. Head to the docks, talk to the guy and take the special pot back to the peddler. Upon arriving, chase after the thief to get the peddler's pot back. This way, you have the option to quit to the title and reload the game (and avoid the 10% penalty for continuing from the dead). Even if you don't recharge your party's MP and HP, save the game.
